The Tri-City region has established itself as one of the top producers of next level talent within Canada.

With its strong club foundation, good leadership in the community and textbook hardnosed style of coaching, the region is known for its high level of production.

Junior Standouts

C/O 2023 Nemanja Sarkanovic representing the KW Vipers took home the Middle School Junior NPH Showcase MVP with his stellar play doing all the talking.

Whether it was in one –on – one, transition drills, or in a scrimmage Sarkanovic scored the ball at will, had a great skill set and was a vocal leader on the court.

C/O 2023 Adam Eichholz representing the KW Vipers showed off his good touch and solid footwork all throughout the weekend, steadily progressing and placing himself on the radar.

C/O 2023 Albin Gashi representing CIA Bounce West was a crafty hardworking lefty, who plays at his own pace. Gashi was able to score inside as well as hit the three point shot with regularity.

C/O 2024 Nikola Simonovic representing the Waterloo Wolverines was one of the best shooter in the gym. Nikola consistently was able to knock down a variety of different shots throughout camp. Simonovic is a strong lead guard with good on ball moves and a tough player on either the defensive or offensive end.

Girls Standouts

Camp MVP and C/O 2020 5’6 G Olive Ude came in as an underdog and let her abilities as a primary ball handler and powerful scoring guard speak. Her change of speed and direction is explosive and effective in beating her defender, and she displayed a variety of finishes within 15ft.

C/O 2021 5’10 G Lireesa Gokhool-Jefferson was also very impressive. By the end of the warm up, it was apparent she was an athletic, high IQ, and coachable guard who understands the why and plays with purpose. Her focus and attentiveness to detail feeds her potential to be elite.

Lireesa showed clean footwork and solid fundamentals as well as creative attack moves to the rim while not shying from contact. She is a long athlete who utilizes length defensively & rebounds aggressively on both ends.

Brampton athletes 2024 G Caidence Amartey, 2024 G Sumer Lee, 2023 G Laila Archer & 2024 G Anaya Johnson showed me what they do best; handle and score the ball against older and bigger competitors.

Archer was precise and efficient from beyond the arc, and Amartey showed advanced vision and IQ distributing and finishing in the midrange. Johnson facilitated for her teammates and scored the ball by getting through the defence and inside the paint. Last but not least, Sumer displayed poise and composure with the ball in her hands, as well as good touch inside 15ft. In other related advertisements, checkout http://www.loveballsgame.com/.
