ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

Student-athlete Academic Requirements
Student-Athletes must meet the following Academic Requirements
• Be enrolled ‘Full-time’ at the Program’s approved academic institution and attend classes they are enrolled in.
• Take a minimum of three (3) credits per semester or a total of six (6) credits for the year to be considered full-time.


Academic Credit Breakdown:
• Student-Athletes in Grade 9,10,11 & 12 must take a minimum of three (3) credits per semester or a total of six (6) credits for the year to be considered full-time.
• 5th year student-athletes (“post-graduate”) will need to take a minimum of two (2) credits per semester or a total of four (4) credits for the year to be considered full-time.
Proof of Enrollment:
• NPH requires proper documentation of student enrollment submitted by the Principal or Lead Academic Advisor prior to the start of the season. The same authority figure must resubmit this document prior to the league’s self imposed Transfer Deadline (Feb 1) where rosters will be solidified.
• NPH reserves the right for further investigation of a Student-Athletes enrollment and may request an active ‘Course Times Table’ at any time.

NPA / WNPA / D1 Academy / D1 Junior / D1 Junior Girls
• All Student-Athletes must attend the same academic institution to qualify as a preparatory team
• Teams must provide proof of enrollment for each athlete prior to the start of the season
• If the team does not belong to a traditional brick-and-mortar school, all student-athletes must enroll in a full course load at Aubrey Academy, an NCAA-accredited institution.
• Alternatively, if a different NCAA-accredited online institution is preferred, North Pole Hoops (NPH) will require documentation to verify the institution’s credentials.
