Raptors 905 Release Inaugural Schedule
A new era for the Raptors doesn’t just start with their new logo, it also starts with their commitment to developing young talent with the new Raptors 905 team starting in November.
The season starts on the road against the Indiana Pacers affiliate Fort Wayne Mad Ants on Nov. 14, and they play at home in Mississauga Nov. 19 when they host the Maine Red Claws of the Boston Celtics.
Open tryouts are coming September 19th, and the roster is still TBD but will feature a collection of young Raptors improving for a crack at NBA minutes, D-Leaguers selected in the expansion draft, and other gems that head coach the coaching staff will surely have been targeting.
The 50-game schedule features 24 home games (including two at the ACC) and 24 on the road with two in Santa Cruz as part of the 12th annual NBA D-League Showcase.
Raptors 905 will also host the D-League All-Star game at the ACC as part of NBA All-Star Weekend 2016 in Toronto.
