The Toronto Raptors have just announced their rosters for their two day free agent mini camp ahead of the NBA Draft and though the names are impressive the most impressive thing is that there are five Canadians on the list.

All told, NBA D-Leaguers Jordan Bachynski and Khem Birch, NPH Pro-File diarist OIu Ashaolu and Carleton Ravens Phil and Thomas Scrubb will be the Canucks in attendence today.  That would be a pretty decent starting lineup in any league outside the NBA.

Though not all are expected to make it to the Raptors training camp, or any NBA training camp for that matter, this at least gives all these players a shot a showing the Dinos’ brass what they can do against some good competition.  The other non-Canadian names are no slouches either so this would be a great way to see them, particularly the Scrubb brothers, would fare against players they could be playing against at the next level. Being selected to the free agent camp is a great way for all players to have their names in GMs and decision makers heads when Summer League comes around at the very least.

Keep it locked in here for the latest on news.
