Kassius Robertson Rising, Chris Boucher Beasting, Jamar Ergas-Marcus Lewis Dunk-A-Thon

Kassisus Robertson has been a tear

Kassius Robertson has been on a steady incline since the summer, and the Pound The Rock Invitational has been no exception. Robertson has been leading Thornhill, alongside Marko Pirovic and Troy Reid-Knight.

Marcus Lewis One-Hand Jam

His athleticism has been more evident than ever, particularly in transition…what would have been lay ups a year ago, are now thunderous dunks. We are looking forward to seeing how he finishes off the tournament today.

Chris Boucher of Alma stepped up in a big way in the absence of Nicky Desilien. Boucher has repeatedly proven to be a BIG TIME shot blocker, swatting at least five per game.

The Quebec contingent looked like Khem Birch rejecting opponents thanks to his extreme length and impeccable timing.

Near the end of the night, it was Jamar Ergas and Marcus Lewis who spearheaded a 22 Ft. Academy dunk-a-thon which lifted the energy of their team. In their game against Reda, it was up and down; a bright spot was Abednego Lufile who was matched up against Mikyle McIntosh and proved to be a worthy opponent going to work in the first half.

In the end, contributions from Peter Rusic, Brandon Chauca and Mikyle McIntosh lifted 22 FT. over Reda.

Stay tuned for championship day coverage!
