WHITBY, ON–The NPH #8-Ranked Canadian player, Justin Edwards has narrowed his list down to six schools but still has his options open for new programs in need of his services.

“I’m still keeping my options open to some new schools like Georgetown, they called me about a week ago,” explained Edwards.

The 6’2 athletic combo guard of Anderson CVI in Whitby, Ontario has watched his stock rapidly rise over the last couple months. Initially, Edwards only had received interest from the mid-major schools such as St. Bonaventure, Maine, New Hampshire, Detroit, to name a few.

However, he has now managed to earn attention from some big programs. I spoke to Justin earlier today and he has informed NPH that Louisville, Marquette, New Mexico State, Virginia, Maine and Long Island are the six schools that he is entertaining. Yet, keep in mind that this list is not set in stone.

“Everything is going pretty good I’m looking to sign the april/may signing period,” said Edwards.

Of the six schools, The Maine Blackbears have been in the hunt the longest, and Edwards already made his visit two months ago.
