MONTREAL, QC–While Ontario is considered by most as, “Canada’s basketball hub” known to produce NCAA and high level CIS talent; Quebec, the neighbouring province to the East has been neglected on the national radar despite being home to a plethora of talent over the years.

Prominent names that Quebec has produced includes Joel Anthony (Miami Heat), Kris Joseph (Syracuse), Hernst Laroche (New Mexico State), Khem Birch (UNLV), Olivier Hanlan (Boston College), Junior Lomomba (Cleveland St commit) and many more!

The first ever NPH Quebec Showcase will take place May 25-27 at a state of the art facility, Collège Jean-De-Brébeuf, to identify the future of basketball in the province! This event will be open to players currently in Grade 9-11 + CEGEP players.

The NPH Quebec Showcase will be a perfect opportunity for CIS  and CEGEP scouts to be in attendance to evaluate the talent for their respective programs. In addition, NCAA scouts will be informed about the top performers and hidden gems at the showcase!

Day one will take athletes through a series of combine drills focusing on skill development in addition to strength and conditioning. NPH has partnered up with Strength-N-U to provide showcase participants with direction on how to maximize their physical abilities.

Strength-N-U currently works with basketball stars Negus Webster-Chan (Mizzouri NCAA commit) and NPH #3-ranked Xavier Rathan-Mayes. Other SNU clients include national wrestling champion, Braxton Papadopoulos.

Day two will provide players a chance to prove themselves in competition with each age group split into teams.

Participants will be evaluated throughout the first two days, where they will earn the right to be selected for the Top Prospect Showcase on day three.

It’s time for Quebec’s finest to earn respect on the national level. In other words, it’s GAME TIME!

• Day 1- Combine (5 PM -9 PM)
• Day 2- Open Showcase (12PM – 8PM)
• Day 3- Junior & Senior Top Prospect Showcase (12PM – 5PM)
