Record breaking numbers yet again for Canada.133 Canadians will be suited up somewhere at the Division-1 level of NCAA basketball this year and only 10 of those 133 are seniors. Last year there was a 112 men in the NCAA at the D1 level.

The train isn’t slowing down either. In fact, it’s picked up momentum and moving at an alarming rate with RJ Barrett as conductor, along with a plethora of stars and NBA potentials.

Canada’s VIA Rail carries over 100 prospects into the U.S. for the 2018-2019 NCAA men’s season. One more will be joining in January and that is Quincy Guerrier who is currently slotted as the number one Canadian prospect in 2019.

Ontario takes the cake in terms of producing talent and below is a breakdown of where the prospects are coming from. While the interest, populations and exposure opportunities grow for other provinces we estimate there will be 50 more coming in next season, and over 200 Canadians at the NCAA level during the 2020-2021 season.

Special thanks to Canadian Stat Tracker Hasan Alanam.

New Mexico Lobo fan here. Thought you would like to know that Emmanuel Kuoc has committed to Paul Weir and the Lobos. Any news on other Canadians Lobos may be recruiting? Tre Edwards?
How about giving Kuoc and the Lobos some love?

    Thanks, Brutus

    Hi Elias
Very happy to see the info you have provided. My suggestion from a fan point of view – would like to see a list of players in D1 by (name/school/hometown). Currently from what i can see, its formatted by weekly performance stats only. not so easy to view if one is looking for a complete list only. thanks
