Canadian big man and Texas Tech alum Dejan Kravic has signed a new one-year contract with A.G.O. Rethymno Aegean of the Greek A1 League.

Kravic, a NPH Showcase Instructor, just finished a superb season with the SPM Shoeters Den Bosch in the FIBA Europe Cup and the Dutch Basketball League, where he averaged a phenomenal 18.8 points, 11.2 rebounds, two assists, and two blocks per game.

Kravic actually began his pro career with A.G.O. Rethymno Aegean, but in a reserve role. During his first year he averaged 6.5 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 0.8 blocks in 16.2 minutes per game. Expectations for the big man are undoubtedly higher this time around, as the London, Ont. baller by way of Serbia has only improved over his professional years.

“I’m excited to be returning to a high-level league like Greece,” Kravic told NPH. “I look forward to a strong season individually and as a team.”

“I am very excited to work with a player like Dejan this year,” said Rethymno Head Coach, Antonis Constantinides. “He has great talent and still has the potential to get better. I am sure that he has the ability to be an elite center on both ends of the court for our club this season.”
