Florida commit Shai Alexander has made some serious moves this summer, being invited to join the Team Canada Senior Men’s team in their trip to Manila to qualify for the Olympics.

Alexander will be joining a backcourt which includes NBA guars Corey Joseph and Tyler Ennis, as well as European studs Brady Heslip, Melvin Ejim, and Thomas Scrubb.

The Hamilton, Ont. native and U-Play product has also been invited to the Nike Basketball Academy, one of the most prestigious basketball camps in the world.

Needless to say this young man has been doing work on multiple fronts, and his hard work is paying off, giving him more and more opportunities to improve, learn, and develop. Get used to this name in Canada Basketball.
