FLORENCE, SC– “I just committed to UNC,” Adut Bulgak ecstatically told NPH.

Bulgak is a former Bishop O’Leary high school star out of Edmonton, Alberta who is currently attending her final high school year at SC-ALI Prep in South Carolina.

“The prep year has really improved my game, and in a short amount of time too, I’ve improved in all areas of the game a little bit in some way,” said Bulgak.

As a grade 12 senior, Bulgak averaged a jaw-dropping 25 points, while pulling down 25 boards per contest thanks to her versatility. At 6’3, Bulgak has great athleticism along with a trusted jumper.

Schools that have been recruiting the Edmonton talent included Hawaii, Oregon, Southern Utah, to name a few.

But what drove her to the perennial power in Tarheel nation?

“I really liked the visit, I felt like I was with family; everyone was very welcoming from the time i walked on campus…not athletes but students in general.”

Bulgak will make it official and sign her LOI in April.

Congratulations to Adut Bulgak,  who NPH will continue tracking through her NCAA career.
