Manroop Clair, NPH #7-Ranked Prospect Becomes Seventh Canadian on Huntington Prep

HUNTINGTON, WV–If you’re a Canadian, what’s better than six Canucks on a high-profile, nationally-ranked American prep school team?

That’s easy…seven would be the answer.

As of today, British Columbia’s own Manroop Clair becomes the seventh Canadian on the Huntington Prep Express. (West Virginia)

With the #7-ranked 2013 Canadian prospect joining the express, Huntington Prep adds another ball-handler and scorer.

Clair spoke to NPH prior to boarding his flight saying, “This is a great opportunity for me…I gotta take it.”

Clair has been a well-kept secret in British Columbia for a few years now, until exploding on the AAU circuit this past summer, while earning his name dropping 27 points on Scout.com’s #1-ranked SG in America and Duke commit, Rasheed Sulaimon.

We have witnessed Clair’s development over the past several months, and the aspect in his game that stands out above all, is his mental edge and work ethic.

Despite this, Clair explains he must now step it up a notch as he will match up against high-level talent day in and day out.

“I gotta put in more effort now…I’m going to work extra hard.”

Congratulations and good luck to Manroop Clair who begins a new chapter in his life and continues the journey in chasing his dreams!
