“We are looking forward to some really tough competition in our upcoming camps,” stated Mill Rats President and General Manager Ian McCarthy.  “Every season without fail we have ended up signing a player from our open tryouts.”

Last season, 6’3 guard Mike Anderson from Grand Bay-Westfield, New Brunswick earned a roster spot on the Mill Rats.

The Mill Rats are now part of the new National Basketball League of Canada along with the Halifax Rainmen, Quebec Kebs, Moncton Miracles, Summerside Storm, London Lightning, and Oshawa Power.  Each team is required to have two Canadian players on their active roster at all times this season.

Mill Rats season tickets are now on sale at the Harbour Station box office 657-1234 or the Mill Rats office 214-4454, as well as several flex-ticket options.  Single game tickets are going on sale on October 17th.
