This year’s Regional teams are being regarded as one of the most talented rosters to ever be composed in the event’s 10-year history!

Thomas’ Head Coach at Christian Fatih Centre Academy (CFCA),  Ro Russell speaks on the accolade that Kevin has reached.

“It’s a big achievement…first Myck [Kabongo] a Jordan Brand Classic All-American then KT being a regional all-star…he has loads of talent, and a great kid.”

Thomas began his high school career in Canada where he played at Pickering High  in Ajax, Ontario. At that time, he was a very thin post player that relied on playing with his back to the basket. If you take a look at his current repertoire, one will notice his greatly improved scoring versatiliy.

“He has really developed into a versatile combo forward who can play five positions in high school and probably three in college,” explained Russell.

“He has put in work on his body, (currently 205 Lbs) and is a top-100 player (North America) in the 2011 class,” continued Russell, who has played an integral role in the emergence of Kevin thomas as he is also his AAU coach on Grassroots Canada.

Thomas is still an unsigned senior, that will immediately make an impact as a freshman, wherever he chooses to commit. He is being heavily recruited by Wake Forest, NC State, Texas, Arkansas, New Mexico, Charlotte, Missouri, among others.

Stay tuned on the NPH ticker for his commitment!
