You should all remember that current NBA Rookie of the Year, and burgeoning superstar, Andrew Wiggins was given a special makeup of the Adidas Crazy Light Boost to close this season.  Well the Three Stripes are at it again with another pair for Young Wiggins this time for the start of this coming NBA season.

Adidas has released a few images of the upcoming Crazy Light Boost 2015 that will be for Wiggins this past Monday and they are nice looking.

The “home” edition will have a white, blue and grey colorway with some very nice touches for the kid from the North.  To pay homage to Andrew’s Canadian heritage the entire upper will feature a pattern of white maple leaves with two shades of blue for contrast.  The tongues will also feature the maple leaf prominently within Wiggins’ initials on both shoes.  The sole will have a speckled white and blue midsole while the outsole will be ice blue.

Technologically speaking, the pair will feature Adidas’ Boost (like in the name of the shoe) but will be adding 13% more of it for added comfort and shock absorption.  On top of that they have also made this the first basketball shoe to include their Primeknit for the upper that was previously seen on the brand’s performance soccer cleats.  This single, enhanced fabric upper will allow for maximum support while also allowing for max breathability.

Though there is yet to be a release date according to the press release it is set to drop at select Adidas retailers and Adidas.com.  Our guess it that we’ll know exactly when towards the start of NBA training camps in September.  The pair is set to run you $140 US so expect it to be a little higher here in The North.   Stay tuned in for any updates on this pair here.

Check out my #CrazyLightBoost that I will be lacing up next season. S/O to @adidashoops !
