The historic Dawson Classic, dating back to 1976 [formerly known as Hagen tournament], will once again tip off college basketball in Canada with high level pre-season action. The Humber College Hawks will be back in Montreal to defend their back-to-back tournament championship.

This weekend, NPH will be in Quebec to track top CEGEP / CCAA prospects, that we had an opportunity to evaluate during the past, including NPH Showcase alum:

• Brandon Robinson
• Jordan Aquino
• Cedric Sanogo

We will also get another look at Alex Paquin of Champlain, who we caught on the AAU circuit this summer in Indiana. Of course, there will be new talent to discover in the process, something we look most forward to.

The Dawson Classic will feature four Quebec-based CEGEP programs (Dawson, Champlain, Ste Foy, John Abbott), three OCAA teams from Ontario (Humber, Sheridan, Algonquin) and the lone program representing Atlantic Canada in MSVU.
