Findlay Prep vs. CFCA: Canadian Affair in Lexington…13 to Be Exact!
LEXINGTON, KY–This Friday (November 25) will be a Canadian-flavoured duel as National Power Findlay Prep (Nevada) will take on Christian Faith Centre Academy (North Carolina) with a combined 13 Canadians between the two teams!
Findlay features NPH #1-ranked Canadian Anthony Bennett (2012), #14-ranked Matthew Willms (2012), #5-ranked Nick Madray (2013) and Petar Rusic (injured).
CFCA will suit up nine Canadians including #17-ranked Jalyn Pennie (2012), #5-ranked Mikyle “BIG MAC” McIntosh (2013), and #9-ranked Kaza Keane (2013).
Other Canadians on CFCA are De-Shaun Williams, Deshawn Thompson, Daniel Johnson, Jordan Kelly, Joshua Rhodius, and Joel Ndondo.
Entering this bout, Findlay Prep is looking like a heavy favourite as they are currently the #2-ranked team in America and hold an undefeated record of 4-0.
However, CFCA also own a perfect record of 7-0, which could make things interesting.
“We’re going to go in and play until the buzzer sounds. I’m not going into the game thinking of losing, I hate to lose,” CFCA lead guard Kaza Keane told NPH.
This game will serve as a great measuring stick for CFCA to determine how strong they really are as a team. Will they shock the world and get themselves on the map…or will they simply become another victim?
“It’s Findlay you know, the powerhouse. It’s a great opportunity to propel our school and team into a great future with a win,” explained Keane.
This game will be played in Lexington at Rupp Arena, home to the Kentucky Wildcats (NCAA) Program!
