CNIT is proud to announce their team listing for their 2017 NCAA certified

basketball tournament

Thursday, July 13, 2017

Canadian National Invitational Tournament (CNIT) put on by Canadian based media

outlet, North Pole Hoops has announced their Canada wide team listing and

schedule for their July 21 – July 23 basketball tournament taking place in

Mississauga and Burlington. Tickets are available for spectators at entry.

The third annual event is the only NCAA certified basketball tournament in the

country, which gives Canadian club programs the opportunity to get exposure on

home soil. Previously to CNIT’s event, club programs predominately travelled to the

States to seek scholarships. Teams competing will have the opportunity to gain

exposure in front of North Pole Hoops and its many relationships with Canadian

universities, NCAA D1, NCAA D2, NCAA D3, U Sports, CCAA, Juco among many

others.

“We are excited about this year, it will be our biggest in date in terms of exposure

and scholarship offers. Were going to have over 50 NCAA programs in attendance of

very high levels. Were excited to be able to provide this to Canadian student

athletes. A lot of these college programs don’t truly understand how much talent we

have in Canada and were really looking forward to bringing that to the forefront,“

said Tariq Sbiet, NPH National Scout.

72 teams will compete while over 50 NCAA programs will be in attendance to

recruit top talent at the hottest recruiting destination in Canada.
