Andrew Wiggins, Trey Lyles and Roy Rana Selected to Nike Hoop Summit
Make it three major high school events that will feature a Canadian this spring; the McDonalds All-American game, Jordan Brand Classic and as announced today, the Nike Hoop Summit.

Andrew Wiggins, Trey Lyles and Ryerson Rams Head Coach Roy Rana were selected to represent the maple leaf in April at the Nike Hoop Summit.
Wiggins who has yet to make his college choice, but has narrowed down his choices to Kansas, North Carolina, Florida State and Kentucky, will make his second straight appearance at the game.
In last year’s game, Wiggins and the World Select Team led by as many as 18 points, before defeating Team USA 84-75. Wiggins walked away with game MVP posting a team-high 20 points and seven rebounds.
This year’s game will also mark the third straight time for Roy Rana to be the Head Coach of the World Select team.
In Rana’s debut the World team lost 92-80 to a USA roster that featured the likes of Anthony Davis, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Austin Rivers. Last year Rana received his first win, and will be looking to make it two in a row with another strong World roster.
Trey Lyles was also selected, but had to drop out due to a left knee injury. The 6’9 Lyles is NPH #1- ranked Canadian, and amongst the top five prospects in North America for the 2014 class. Lyles lead his high school team Arsenal Tech (Indiana) in points, assists and rebounds.
The game will be played at the Rose Garden in Portland, Oregon on April 20th with tip off set for 7:00 p.m. EST.
