2025 NPA Nationals Ranking Released

As the NPA Nationals approach, teams have battled through a highly competitive season, where we learned that there are no shortage of teams that can win it all, having demonstrated that on any given day, any team can be beaten.

With powerhouse programs, rising talents, and championship pedigrees in the mix, every squad has something to prove. Here’s how the teams stack up heading into the tournament.

It’s March. Win and advance.

*Criteria*

-Record + Strength of schedule
-League Commitment
-Upper echelon wins, lower echelon losses
-Program pedigree

*Legend*

Upper Echelon teams = Top 8 teams

Lower Echelon teams = bottom 9 teams

1. FEIA (9-0)
The only undefeated team in the NPA. It goes without saying—they deserve the top spot. They’ve beaten top teams and have the pedigree and talent to stay at No. 1.

2. Crestwood Prep (9-2)
One of the top teams record-wise, with their only losses coming against FEIA and Edge—both top-tier teams. They have the talent and production to secure a high ranking due to their strength of schedule. Crestwood is hungry for another NPA National Championship (2019 champs).

3. FEIA Red (8-2)
With their only two losses coming against top-four teams, they earn the third spot. The reigning National Champions are a serious threat to repeat.

4. Hodan Prep (8-2)
Hodan boasts a strong 8-2 record, though one of their losses came against a lower-echelon team. Led by Portland commit, 6’8” playmaking guard Dante Censori-Hercules, and D1 recruit Ian McBride—who recently picked up an offer from Stonehill—they have the star power to make noise.

5. Edge Prep (7-2)
Edge has taken down multiple upper-echelon teams and represents Western Canada with talent at every position. Their **Big 3—Malachi Richmond, Cole Bekkering, and Patrick Anamali—**along with a strong supporting cast, makes them a legit contender. With one of the highest winning percentages in the league, they earn themselves a top spot.

6. Ridley College (7-2)
At 7-5, Ridley has played all 12 games and is trending upwards, fresh off an OSBA Championship. Caleb Roberts and Coach Victor Raso have proven they can beat anyone in a single-elimination game. With Coach Raso coming off a CEBL Championship and a Provincial Championship, it’s hard to bet against the Ridley Tigers.

7. Royal Crown (5-2)
You can never underestimate the championship pedigree of the Royal Crown Lions. However, league commitment (as seen above) affected their seeding. Still, they finished with a 5-2 record, including a win against an upper-echelon team, proving they are more than capable of contending for a championship.

8. RNS (5-7)
RNS comes in at No. 8 with a 5-7 record. They are one of the few teams to play all 12 games, securing some impressive wins against upper-echelon teams along the way.

9. St. Jude’s Academy (6-4)
St. Jude’s maintained a positive record throughout the season, playing 10 NPA games. They have talent, but without any wins over upper-echelon teams, they have a lot to prove at Nationals.

10. Brampton City Prep (5-6)
BCP enters Nationals at 5-6. They have a young and exciting group of talent, and in a single-elimination game, anything can happen if they get hot.

11. Bill Crothers (4-6)
Despite a 4-6 record, Bill Crothers is led by one of the top guards in the country, Jacob McGregor. Regardless of their seeding, teams will have a tough time game-planning for him.

12. CSJV (4-7)
A team that has struggled with injuries all year but is finally getting healthy. With their toughness and length on the perimeter, they’ll be a tough matchup for any team. Never count out Quebec—they’ve got DAWWWGs.

13. Polaris Prep (4-4)
Though their record isn’t where they wanted it to be, they’ve secured wins against two upper-echelon teams. However, their sample size of games is too small to rank them higher.

14. Lincoln Prep (2-8)
With size, talent, and close games throughout the season, their record doesn’t fully reflect their capabilities as a team. StFX commit Owen Frayne and Eliott Tsegakele can compete with any duo in the country.

15. Tri-City Prep (2-9)
Led by NPA leading scorer Harry Shellhammer (25.9ppg) and one of the top young prospects, Stef Ilic, this team has some serious talent. Scouts will like what they see.

16. LBA (2-10)
Led by NJIT commit Rocco Awad, one of the top players in the NPA, LBA is always ready to put up a fight against anyone. Another team that has remained competitive in a lot of their games.

17. CODE (1-11)
A team with young talent like Amare Lincoln and Zach Walker, CODE looks to make a name for themselves at NPA Nationals, showcasing their skills in front of college coaches and boosting their recruitment stock.
