Treyah earned NPH Showcase MVP at the 2018 Manitoba Showcase last summer. A combination of a strong fundamental skillset, attention to detail, and movement efficiency place her neck-and-neck with competitors across the country in the 2022 class.

Not only is Treyah the first 9th grader in Glenlaw Collegiate history to make the varsity team, she also earned a spot in the starting five. The point guard has already earned two Tournament All-Star awards, averaging 17-points, 5.3-assists and 4-steals per game.
For the upcoming months, Treyah has a few goals in mind…
“I want to continue working on ball handling and want to improve my counter moves when attacking the hoop. I also want to continue improving my conditioning to be able to play full court defence for the entire game.”
– Treyah Paquette, Glenlaw Collegiate Institue Point Guard
In the early stages of her recruiting, Treyah is getting correspondence from the University of North Dakota. Interest from post-secondary programs in need of a versatile guard with great leadership will continue piling on as Treyah continues to develop her game, and as Canadian girls basketball players continue getting exposure. The focus and attentiveness I saw from Treyah in camp leaves me with no doubt that she is coming for her second NPHShowcase MVP award.
