NC-Double-Eh Players of the Week – Feb. 14
NC-Double-Eh Men’s Player of the Week – Dillon Brooks, Oregon
Dillon Brooks had been looking more and more like a like a potential NBA Draft pick this season and had managed to remain consistent despite Oregon’s inconsistency. In the team’s two games last week, he averaged 19.5 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 steal in 32.5 minutes. He shot 11-of-25 from the floor, 3-of-7 from behind the arc and 12-of-15 from the stripe to earn NC-Double-Eh Men’s Player of the Week.
In Oregon’s 83-63 loss to California February 11, Brooks had 17 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals in 30 minutes. He shot 6-of-12 from the floor and 4-of-7 from the line.
In the Ducks’ close 76-72 loss to Stanford two days later, Brooks went for 24 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists in 35 minutes. He shot 7-of-13 from the floor, 2-of-3 from the arc and was 8-of-8 from the free throw line.
For the season, Brooks is averaging 17.2 points, 5.8 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.2 steals in 33.1 minutes. He’s shooting 48.6% from the floor, 30.5% from the 3PT line and 79.6% from the stripe.

NC-Double-Eh Men’s Rookie of the Week – Jamal Murray, Kentucky
Jamal Murray continues to make a case for himself as National Freshman of the Year with another great week of work. In two games for Kentucky he averaged 25 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals in 34 minutes. He shot 17-of-35 from the floor, 10-of-21 from the three and 6-of-8 from the line to earn another NC-Double-Eh Rookie of the Week.
In Kentucky’s 82-48 win over Georgia February 9, Murray went for 24 points, 2 rebounds and 2 steals. He shot 8-of-14 from the floor, 6-of-10 from the trey and was 2-of-2 from the line in 30 minutes.
In the Wildcats’ 89-62 win over South Carolina four days later, Murray went for 26 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist and a steal in 38 minutes. He shot 9-of-21 from the floor, 4-of-11 from the three and 4-of-6 from the line.
On the season Murray is averaging 18.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.2 steals in 34.4 minutes. He’s shooting 43.5 from the floor, 40% from the 3PT line and 75.6% from the stripe.

NC-Double-Eh Women’s Player of the Week – Brianne Cohen, Detroit
Brianne Cohen had steadily emerged as a presence for Detroit as the season has gone on and this has been her best week yet. In two games she’s averaging 19 points, 8 rebounds and 2.5 blocks in 27 minutes. She shot 14-of-26 from the floor and 9-of-15 from the line to earn our NC-Double-Eh Women’s Player of the Week.
In Detroit’s 65-51 loss to Illinois-Chicago February 11 Cohen had 15 points, 5 rebounds and a block in 25 minutes.
In the Titans’ 85-65 win over Valparaiso two days later Cohen went for a season highs of 23 points and 4 blocks together with 11 rebounds and 1 assist in 29 minutes.
On the season, Cohen is averaging 14.2 points and 5.9 rebounds in 23.8 minutes. She’s shooting 58% from the floor and 79% from the line.

NC-Double-Eh Women’s Rookie of the Week – Hayley Robertson, Vermont
Hayley Robertson has been playing steadily as a true freshman this year but last week she took a big jump in minutes and showed she was ready. In two games for Vermont, she averaged 13 points, 8 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.5 assists in 42 minutes to earn NC-Double-Eh Women’s Rookie of the Week.
In Vermont’s 68-66 loss to UMass-Lowell on February 8, Robertson had her best game of the season going for 20 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals in 40 minutes. She shot 8-of-20 from the floor, including hitting two threes.
In the Catamounts’ second two-point loss of the week February 14, Robertson had 6 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and a steal playing all 44 minutes of the 52-50 overtime loss to Hartford.
On the year, Robertson is averaging 6.1 points, 2.9 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.1 steals in 22.7 minutes.
