U15 Boltt Win Bronze Division Championship at King James Shooting Stars Classic (Windsor, Ontario)
Team BOLTT U15 had another successful weekend, taking home the Bronze Division Championship (Red Division-Top 32 teams) at the King James Shooting Stars Classic in Akron, Ohio. After a two hour traffic delay on the way to Akron, the BOLTT team arrived at the gym just minutes prior to tip off of their first game, which hurt, ending up with the L.
“We can not use this as an excuse because if we are to be a Top Ranked team we have to find ways to grind it out for the win,” explained BOLTT Coacc, Marcel Freeman.
The loss cost the team in a big way as they dropped to the bronze division. As a result, the team came back with a vengeance and took out frustrations on their opposition, leading to four straight wins. (Queen City Prophets 59-42, Who Got Game 59-33, Virginia Elite 59-36, and Ohio Team Work 68-53 in the finals) The U15 Boltt team finished 4-1 for the tournament and currently hold an overall record of 14-2 on the season. In three tournaments, Freeman’s program has managed three Trophies (two gold, 1 bronze).
U16 DRIVE Win Silver Division championship at H-town Classic (Richmond, BC)
