Cape Breton Caper Paris Carter Signs 10-month Pro Contract in England

SYDNEY, NS–Cape Breton Caper, and former CIS star, Paris Carter (NPH #4-Ranked) has recently signed his first pro contract to play in England in the EBL for the Leicester Warriors.
Carter was #14 in scoring in the CIS, averaging 18.2 points per game, while leading his team to a record of 19-1 last season.
The 6’4 guard leads by example and possesses great versatility on the wing as he can shoot it from the perimeter or penetrate strong to the cup.
Prior to playing for Cape breton, Carter had a short stint with New Mexico State and was recruited by former Sacramento Kings Head Coach, Reggie Theus.
Other teams that Carter has been a part of include Cecil Community College and Hartford University. After bouncing around through various leagues, he has finally reached his ultimate goal!
“I’m very excited to play in England, it’s a dream that came true for me to play professional basketball and I can’t wait to see how this season goes,” Carter told NPH.
