Team White , lead by MVP Mamadou Gueye defeated Team Black 83-74 in a competitive match up. White controlled the pace of the game playing high tempo basketball thanks to guards Greishe Clerjuste and Nemanja Zarkovic who opened the fast break, feeding teammates and combining for 11 assists!

Gueye, who was also AAA CEGEP MVP this past season commented on his experience, and his double-double performance.

“After the day one work out, I was tired but had a good night’s sleep…and today I went strong and hard, pushing myself to the end.”

The 6’7 forward also pushed his team to victory, registering an all-around game of 19 points, 11 rebounds, three steals and two blocks!

However, on the shoulders of a dominant Nolan Woodward, Team Black would make several runs to get back in the game. Woodward owned the glass and was unstoppable inside due to his strength.

In addition, he extended his game to the outside knocking down a total of four triples. Woodward was the high man in  two categories, posting a healthy 27 point, 13 rebound performance.

Team mate Max Joseph contributed 20 points, eight rebounds and four assists, however it was not enough to overcome the fast-paced game of Team White.
