Elite Talent on Display to Open the Inaugural Senior Division

The first-ever weekend of the NPH Girls D1 Senior Open Division showcased top-tier competition and the emergence of players capable of leading their programs at the highest level. From dominant interior performances to versatile backcourt play, Reine Marie Luke (Royal Crown), Rose Hanna (Fort Erie International Academy), and Emi Harumoto (PDM Basketball) stood out as early season leaders.

Rose Hanna | 6’3 Forward | Class of 2028 | Fort Erie International Academy (FEIA)

A powerhouse in the paint, Hanna anchored FEIA on both ends of the floor. She combined strength and agility to dominate the glass, scoring efficiently and controlling the interior defensively. Her consistent double-double production and timing as a shot blocker made her one of the most complete frontcourt players of Session 1. Complete control — Rose Hanna ranks #1 in average points, rebounds, and blocks through opening weekend.

Reine Marie Luke | 5’11 Guard | Class of 2030 | Royal Crown

One of the youngest players in the division played with the poise of a veteran. Reine’s blend of size, skill, and composure allows her to impact every facet of the game. She dictated pace, attacked the rim with control, and used her length to rebound and defend multiple positions. The Class of 2030 guard continues to prove she belongs among the elite in the country, regardless of age. Reine Marie Luke ranks Top 5 in average for points, rebounds, assists, steals, and three-pointers made — elite across the board.

Emi Harumoto | 5’1 Guard | Class of 2026 | PDM Basketball

Harumoto’s energy and leadership powered PDM across both games. Her defensive pressure set the tone, turning steals into fast-break points, while her court vision created opportunities for teammates. Despite her size, she made an outsized impact — proving that heart, IQ, and effort define true guard play. Emi Harumoto – 1st in assists, 2nd in steals, and 3rd in points per game, demonstrating her ability to play at an elite level on both ends of the court!
