2028 G Patrick Fordyce Dominating at NPHShowcase League
Leading the NPHShowcase Grade 10 Division in scoring is Waterloo Wolverines Guard Patrick Fordyce. In 5 games he’s averaging 26.2ppg, including a season-high 41 points in a weekend he averaged 31ppg in 3 games.
He’s been nearly unstoppable on the offensive end. He plays with confidence, toughness, composure and is hard to rattle. He’s aggressive in looking for his shot but at the same time never forces. His efficient style of play and strong decision making creates a lot of offensive opportunities for his team. If he has a good look he’ll knock down the shot, and if he puts it on the floor and gets to the rim he can draw help and find open teammates.
In addition to his high output on the offensive end, he’s making his impact felt on the defensive end as well. He’s 2nd in his division in steals averaging over 3 per game. This type of two-way production is a big reason why his Waterloo Wolverines team is 4-1 to start the season, and looking like a serious contender.
Expect Patrick to receive a lot of interest from Prep teams this summer. With a few more high school years left, he will only continue to improve and build his recruitment profile.
