NPH D1 Basketball Championships Kick off at York University March 16-17
Toronto, Canada –York University Lions proudly announce their role as hosts for the highly anticipated inaugural NPH D1 Basketball Championships, scheduled to take place from March 16th to March 17th, 2024.
The NPH D1 Championship brings together some of the finest talent from across Canada, showcasing quality high school basketball competition. With the prestigious D1 title on the line, teams will battle it out on the court, vying for glory and cementing their legacy in Canadian basketball history.
“As the new Head of York Men’s basketball it’s been a joy reintegrating our program back into the basketball ecosystem and community,” explained Jermaine Holness, Head coach of the York Lions Men’s basketball team.
“We are thrilled to partner with NPH, who continue to be leaders in our industry. We are looking forward to hosting an exciting event that will inspire the next generation of basketball players and welcome our local and extended community into our space.”
The Top two finalists of this division will also qualify for the NPA National Championships, March 21-24, hosted by Ridley College in St Catharines.
