Brooks, Murray, Weisner and Carleton all had great weeks (again) to earn the NC-Double-Eh honors …
NC-Double-Eh Men’s Player of the Week – Dillon Brooks, Oregon
Dillon Brooks continues with his stellar sophomore season playing huge in two wins for Oregon. In the victories he averaged 19.5 points, 7 rebounds, 3.5 assists and a steal in 33.5 minutes to earn NC-Double-Eh Player of the Week.
In Oregon’s big 89-81 win over then #21 ranked USC Jan. 21 Brooks put up 14 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals in 30 minutes.
In the Ducks’ 86-72 win over UCLA Jan. 23, Brooks had one of his best games of the year putting up 25 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 block in 37 minutes. He went 10-of-21 from the floor, 3-of-9 from the three and 2-of-3 from the line.
For the year, Brooks is averaging 16.2 points, 6.5 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.1 steals in 33.3 minutes. He’s shooting 47.5% from the floor and 80% from the stripe.

NC-Double-Eh Men’s Newcomer of the Week – Jamal Murray, Kentucky
Jamal Murray is looking like the star people thought he was to start the season. In Kentucky’s two conference wins last week he averaged 18.5 points, 7 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 2 steals and a block in 36.5 minutes to earn Southeastern Conference Freshman of the Week along with our NC-Double-Eh Newcomer of the Week.
In Kentucky’s 80-66 win over Arkansas Jan. 21, Murray went for 19 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, 1 block in 37 minutes.
In the Wildcats’ 76-57 win over Vanderbilt Jan 23 Murray had 18 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals and a block in his 36 minutes. He also shot 7-of-13 from the field, including 3-of-6 from the arc.
On the season, Murray is averaging 17.8 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.2 steals in 34.1 minutes. He’s shooting 42.4% from the floor, 37.9% from the trey and 76.8% from the line.

NC-Double-Eh Women’s Player of the Week – Jamie Weisner, Oregon St
Jamie Weisner continues to be the sparkplug for the Oregon St Beavers. In her two games last week she averaged 18.5 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and a steal in 31 minutes in two wins to earn her second consecutive NC-Double-Eh Player of the Week.
In Oregon St’s 62-3 win over Utah Jan. 22 Weisner had 23 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, 1 block in 33 minutes. She was 7-of-17 from the field, 3-of-7 from behind the arc and a perfect 6-of-6 from the line.
In the Beavers’ 61-47 win over Colorado two days later Weisner had 14 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assists in 29 minutes. She shot 5-of-9 from the floor, including 2-of-2 from the three, and 2-of-4 from the line.
For the season, Weisner is averaging 16.8 points, 5.4 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1 steals in 30.2 minutes. She’s shooting 49.2% from the floor, 41.4% from the trey and 89.6% from the line.

NC-Double-Eh Women’s Newcomer of the Week – Bridget Carleton, Iowa St
Bridget Carleton is continuing her excellent freshman campaign playing more like a senior. In Iowa St’s two games last week she averaged 11 points, 7.5 rebounds, 1 steal, 1 block in 41 minutes to earn her third Big 12 Freshman of the Week and second straight NC-Double-Eh Newcomer of the Week.
In Iowa St’s 79-76 road loss to Oklahoma St Jan. 20, Carleton had her third double-double of the season going for 13 points and 10 rebounds while adding 2 steals in her 42 minutes.
In the Cyclones’ 77-61 loss to Baylor Jan. 23 Carleton had 9 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 blocks in 40 minutes of action.
On the year Carleton is averaging 12.9 points, 6.2 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 1 steal and 1.1 blocks in 32.3 minutes. She’s shooting 39.4% from the field, 38.7% from the three line and 81.8% from the stripe.
