Young Timberwolves Going Through Ups And Downs

With one of the youngest and most talented teams in the NBA, owner Glen Taylor and the Minnesota Timberwolves coaches, and fans are licking their chops thinking about what time will hold for the franchise.

However, for now the Timberwolves, and Canadian Andrew Wiggins, have really slowed down from their impressive 8-8 start, dropping to 11-16.

“Sometimes I get a little overzealous or excited when we beat Atlanta, beat Chicago, beat some of these teams. I have to remind myself that Andrew Wiggins is 20. Zach LaVine, Karl-Anthony Towns, guys we’re leaning on are 20 years old. But I’m pleased that we’re getting better. I think everyone can see that.” – Sam Mitchell

Mistakes by the team down the stretch of games have really hurt the Wolves, but it all had to be expected as the team is led by a trio of 20 year old prospects.
