7’0 Thon Maker, Sudanese-Australian Makes Debut on Canadian Soil!

Sudanese-Australian Thon Maker made the move to Canada this season to attend Orangeville Prep, teaming up with a loaded group which includes Jamal Murray and Jalen Poyser, NPH #1-Ranked Canadian prospects in the class of 2015 and 2016.
Maker is widely recognizes as a TOP prospect in the WORLD in the class of 2016, a projected NBA lottery pick.
At 7’0, Maker moves and plays like a guard, drawing comparisons to a combination of Kevin Durant and Kevin Garnett.
North Pole Hoops had the opportunity to watch him in two games thus far, which included an intersquad scrimmage and official game against D’Youville.
Maker is being recruited by Arizona, Duke, Florida, Kentucky, Kansas, Georgetown & Miami, to name a few.
