Stephanie Bell Joins Thunderbirds

VANCOUVER, BC– North Vancouver’s Stephanie bell has decided to pursue her basketball career at the University of British Columbia Thunderbirds.
Bell a recent graduate from argyle secondary school in North Vancouver, led her high school team to a seventh place finish in the 2010-2011 AAA BC Girls Provincial championship.
Bell had a strong performance in the tournament with averages of 20 points per game and 11 rebounds.
She was named a first-team all-star and was also awarded with the Quinn Keast Foundation award. Stephanie bell was also part of the 2010 British Columbia U17 provincial team, who won the gold medal at the national championships, and named to the first team all-star team while representing British Columbia during the U15 national championships.
Bell is an outstanding forward and a force for her high school team; she will take the next step and continue working to excel at the elite levels with the UBC Thunderbirds. Also joining Bell will be Zana Williams who is entering her second year at UBC after redshirting a year at Utah State due to injury. Bell will be joining a strong nucleus as the thunderbirds look to pursue a shot at another national championship title!
Based off Bell’s resume along, UBC has taken yet another step forward.
