LOS ANGELES, CA–If you’ve been following along with NPH coverage on the Nike EYBL, surely you would have become familiar with more than a few Canadians involved in this elite event, and their performances in the Dallas Session
CIA BOUNCE- Currently ranked #10 in the EYBL top 25
- C- Sim Bhullar, Huntington Prep (WV) (7-5, 2012)
- C- Richard Peters, Westwind Prep (AZ) (6-9, 2012)
- F- Anthony Bennett, Findlay Prep (NV) (6-7, 2012)
- F- Stefan Jankovic, Huntington Prep (WV) (6-10, 2012)
- F- Dyshawn Pierre, Anderson CVI (ON) (6-6, 2012)
- F- Andrew Wiggins, Vaughan (ON) (6-7, 2014)
- F- Nick Madray, Stephen Lewis (ON) (6-9, 2013)

- G- Kevin Zabo, St.Mark’s (MA) (6-1, 2014)
- G- Xavier Rathan-Mayes, Undecided (6’4, 2014)
Highlighting the Canadian contingent is of course, the loaded Canadian roster otherwise known as CIA BOUNCE. Speaking from a neutral perspective, [disregard the fact that I’m Canadian] this team has managed to draw some of the biggest crowds and media coverage due to their star power along with the curiosity surrounding the big mammoth; 7’5 Centre Sim Bhullar.
This squad is spearheaded by various producers with Anthony Bennett being the head man. Young phenom Andrew Wiggins along with Xavier Rathan-Mayes have also contributed in big ways despite their youth.
Team Takeover DC- Currently ranked #1 in the EYBL top 25
- SG- Jonathan Tshibuy, The Bullis School (MD) (6-4, 2012)
The Quebec representative was undoubtedly the most efficient Canadian during Nike EYBL Dallas. Tshibuy produced all across the board, stuffing the stat sheet and playing a very solid role with the undefeated and extremely talented Takeover DC squad. While Tshibuy was impressive, something tells me there is still at least one gear left in him; will it be displayed in LA?
The Family (Detroit) – Unranked in the EYBL top 25
- SG- Junior Lomomba, James Madison (NY) (6’4, 2012)
This scoring specialist had a solid outing in Dallas, however we would like to see more of a complete game from him this time around, particularly on the defensive end.
Albany City Rock- Unranked in the EYBL top 25
- PG- Olivier Hanlan, New Hampton (6’3, 2012)
Hanlan can play both guard positions effectively, yet he will likely play the one-spot at the next level, meaning he must become accustomed to the position at the EYBL, although he does play the point full time for New Hampton. NPH is looking forward to learn more about this prospect out of Quebec.
