WILBRAHAM,MA– Last time NPH spoke with Braeden Anderson, the 6’9 forward was still on the fence, but had attention rising with high-major schools beginning to percolate in terms of interest in Anderson’s services.
Since then, a lot has changed. Powerhouse programs such as Kentucky, Kansas and most recently (as of this morning), the Duke Blue Devils are looking to fulfill their big man needs.
Who would’ve thought the Okotoks, Alberta native could be making such major strides in such little time! Apparently, Anderson knew it all along.
“Yeah baby! I was teling people I was good enough,” he said excitedly.
As posted on AllKYHOOPS , Duke Head Coach had this to say, “Coach K told him (Braeden) he’d have an opportunity to come in and start from day one.”
However, although this Blue Devil program would seem appealing to most, with “Cameron Crazies” pleading for Braeden…he is still unsure.
Does this new interest change the scenario?
“A little bit man, I definitely have to at least visit.”
According to the conversation that Anderson had with Mike krzyzewski earlier this morning, “he said he needs a tough, physical, hungry, athletic kid that can play right away.”
Coach K asked, “are you my guy?”
Braeden’s decision just got a little more hectic. With Kentucky, Kansas and now Duke heavily in the mix, the athletic hybrid forward is virtually guaranteed a spot on one of these top NCAA programs!
As for the Blue Devils, “It’s a great program. The question is, is it a great stitch for me,” Anderson wonders.
Stay tuned on NPH to find out where Anderson chooses to attend his post secondary education. Wherever it is, he will definitely be making an impact!
