With Black History month under way, Nike, Converse and Jordan Brand are releasing some classic sneakers along with some new arrivals. All the BHM edition shoes are going to be sported in a black and gold colourway. The black signifies the orginal colour that was worn by most pioneers of the game, after the ABA and NBA unified. The gold embraces the obstacles and challenges that have been face by the pioneers along with their championships.
Although the shoes in the picture above are no longer considered peroformance shoes; with the exception of the Nike Zoom Kobe VI, they are still used everday in casual wear, giving respect to the vintage.
Stay tuned for features on the Nike Air Max Hyperdunk 2010, Nike Zoom KD III, and the Nike Air Max Hyped; all of which will be shown in the BHM colourway.
