North Pole Hoops (NPH) is seeking dependable volunteers to support our tournaments and special events across Ontario. Game Day Volunteers play an important role in ensuring events run smoothly by assisting with on-court support, team needs, and venue operations.
This opportunity is ideal for students, community members, and individuals seeking volunteer hours while gaining hands-on experience in live sports environments.
Volunteer Responsibilities
Volunteer duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Court & Facility Support
- Wiping the court during breaks as needed
- Providing and removing balls from courts after pregame and halftime warmups
- Assisting with venue set up before, during, and after games
- Bench & Team Support
- Helping keep benches clean and organized
- Liasoning with teams prior to games and during halftime
- Event Operations
- Supporting staff with general game-day tasks
- Manage BallerTV battery maintenance by charging, rotating, and preparing backup batteries
- Track and collect all basketballs to prevent lost or misplaced balls
- Coaches Room Support – Restocking food, snacks, and beverages
