Matthew Wright, St. Bonaventure Upset St. Louis!

Toronto’s Matthew Wright tied a game high 22 points as the number nine seed St. Bonaventure Bonnies upset the number one seed in the A-10 Conference tournament, the St. Louis Billikens.

Wright continued to show why he’s one of the best three point shooters in the conference, going 5-8 from outside and 8-13 as a whole from the field. The sharp shooter also added 4 assists, 2 rebounds, 1 steal and one very important block near the end of the game.

Two years ago we witnessed another Canadian, Andrew Nicholson, take the Bonnies to an Atlantic 10 conference championship. Before getting to the Championship the Bonnies still have to get through the winner of Dayton and St. Joseph’s in the semi’s tomorrow at 1:30 ET.
