Blyth Academy Online (BAO) is a Ministry-inspected Ontario high school offering the full Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) online. As the preferred academic partner of North Pole Hoops, BAO provides student-athletes with NCAA-aligned, flexible, and fully accredited courses designed to support university-bound basketball players.

Team Coordinator Role & Support Team coordinators are central to the success of each academic program. They serve as the primary academic contact and will be granted Mentor status in the BAO system to help support and track their athletes’ progress.
Mentors are responsible for:
- Confirming accurate course selection and ensuring full payment is completed.
- Monitoring course progress and supporting timely completion.
- Coordinating with BAO for academic check-ins or support requests.

How to Enroll – Step-by-Step Guide
For Individual Student-Athletes:
- Visit the course catalog: www.blytheducation.com/online/courses
- Select your course(s) and click “Buy Now.”
- Use the promo code NPHoops25 at checkout to apply for your courses,
including an exam award so exam proxy fees are waived. - Complete payment. Note: All payments must be received in full before
course access is granted. - Access to courses is typically provided within 1–2 business days of payment.
For Teams (Bulk or Coordinated Enrollment):
- Contact Mike Dotto to begin planning.
- Once undertaken, BAO will assist in identifying core and elective course options
for students enrolling in full year studies. - Team coordinators confirm all registrations and ensure payments are processed.
- Mentor access will be granted to help track and support student progress.
