Like Newby, Ashton Smith also comes from Division II basketball (IUP | 2012) where he had a decorated career including All-American status.
6’11” Keanau Post, representing British Columbia, is fresh off graduation from Missouri, after two years of Junior College.
Kevin Thomas might be the most intriguing prospect of the bunch, at 6’8″ with versatility. KT is fresh off his career at Troy University where he averaged 10 points, 8 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 1 block, shooting nearly 62% from the field.
Pending League approval, these five players will be included on the team’s training camp roster in November.
