North Pole Hoops officially returned to the Nation’s Capital for the first time in over seven years — and Ottawa showed out in a big way.

With 25 programs in attendance, over 50 teams competing, and games spread across three locations, this was a major weekend for basketball in the city. From tip-off to the final buzzer, the action never stopped. Every moment felt meaningful, every possession told a story, and the intensity stayed high all weekend long. The community came out strong, and the players matched that energy with relentless effort and passion.

North Pole Hoops took over Ottawa for an outstanding weekend of basketball, highlighted by wild finishes and unforgettable performances. Red Rush Girls delivered a clutch buzzer-beater to knock off FEIA, while the Tornados took down Dropoff Elite in dramatic fashion. Ottawa Elite showed serious resilience, storming back in the final two minutes to force overtime before completing an incredible comeback, winning by four in the extra frame.

Individual performances stole headlines as well. Ayden Charles erupted for 40 points for Red Rush. Nathaniel Mesile poured in 25 for Youth Elite Ballers. Etienne Bedard (EM Elite) put on a shooting clinic, going a perfect 11-for-11 from the field, 9-for-9 from three, and 1-for-1 at the line for a flawless 32-point performance.
