NPA standouts from session 3
2025 6’2 PG Rocco Awad | London Basketball Academy
Session stats: 22.7ppg, 9.5rpg, 3apg
Rocco’s consistently been one of the top performers in the NPA this season. Not only has he posted big numbers, but he’s had to shoulder so much of the load for his LBA team. He simply can’t afford to take a game off, and because of his elite level play LBA’s been competitive in basically every game they’ve played despite coming up short. High IQ PG who can play on and off the ball, and even shows the ability to operate in the post. Hard worker, glue-guy, true extension of coach on the floor.
2025 6’8 SF John Ikpotokin | Rothesay Netherwood School
Session stats: 18ppg, 7rpg
For a player who’s only been playing competitive basketball for a few years, John’s rise as one of the top prospects in the country has been on display all NPA season. This past session, he maintained his usual production on both ends and is starting to show his teeth as a competitor, really starting to thrive in big matchups against other high level prospects. Still scratching the surface.
2025 6’8 SF Mangok Lok | Crestwood Prep
Session stats: 19.6ppg, 4.3rpg
Once again it’s freaky, athletic ability was on display, leading Crestwood to a strong weekend where they went undefeated. He was a beast on the glass and inside as usual, and an absolute tear in the floor, one of the highest ceilings out of any prospect in the NPA as he continues to develop his skill set, he’s going to be a high-level recruit.
2025 6’1 PG Cyrus Hassan | Polaris Prep
Session stats: 18ppg, 4apg
Cyrus’s ability to run the point guard position at a high-level was very impressive this past session. Possesses strong point guard qualities such as vision, poise, shooting ability, and IQ.
2026 6’4 PG Jacob McGregor | Bill Crothers
Session stats: 14ppg, 4.3apg, 3.3rpg
Highly skilled guard who plays with a swagger and confidence. Productive with the ball in his hands with the ability to score from anywhere as well as make heads up finds. Does a good job of getting teammates involved or taking over when needed.
2025 6’2 PG Jeremy Sundani | CSJV
Session stats: 15ppg, 3rpg
Strong performer for CSJV in terms of stats and eye test, did a lot for this team from scoring to playmaking and defending and coming up big in tight moments. CSJV has so much depth and talent across-the-board, and he was one of the most consistent throughout the session
2027 6’5 SG Zach Downer | Hodan Prep
Session stats: 11ppg, 4rpg
Probably the biggest stock riser from this past session. The 2027 prospect put the NPA on notice. Good size for position and skill with a fiery competitiveness that stood out while playing two years up. Took over a game in a Hodan Prep win vs Polaris putting up a season high 20 points. Alpha mindset.
2025 6’4 SG Griffin Collinson | Ridley College
Session stats: 22ppg, 4rpg, 50%3pt
Griffin has always been a strong scorer for Ridley, but I was particularly impressed with his defensive compete level this past session. Not only was he doing a lot of the scoring on the offensive end for Ridley but he took on the assignment of guarding the other teams best team a lot of times. Two-way guards who plays the right way and plays hard.
2025 6’6 SF Cole Bekkering | Edge Prep
Session stats: 17.6ppg, 6rpg, 41%3pt
With this Edge team coming in with a plethora of injuries, Cole was asked to carry a lot of the offensive load, which isn’t something new for him. Scored at a high clip, as well as initiated some offence and brought the ball up the floor at times. Starting to show different dimensions to his game as a skilled scorer with good size and IQ.
2025 6’10 Nate Stoddart | Lincoln Prep
Session stats: 17ppg, 8rpg
When Nate is on the floor, he’s one of the most impactful players for Lincoln prep at 6:10 with good mobility and a very high motor. It doesn’t take much for him to get going especially when he’s playing like with a good point like one friend.
2026 6’6 SF Amare Lincoln
Session stats: 12.8ppg, 5rpg
Consistent performer for code who did a bit of everything. Has the ability to play inside and outside with a good size and scoring touch.
