Kobe Elvis clearly take the cake for best handle in the game. DePaul Blue Demons fans will surely see this next season. He’s played all over North America and illustrated that he’s a top Point Guard in the 2020 class regardless of being Canadian or American. On the AAU scene with Northern Kings, during the Prep season with Bill Crothers and across all camps he’s attended, Elvis continues to perform with consistency. The higher the competition level the better he performs. Match him up against the best of them and his ball handling skills, ability to set up teammates, breakdown defenders and give fans something to cheer about are all top shelf material.

Moreover, Elvis is a student-athlete that plays with a lot of raw emotion. He has an exciting style of play and demeanor. It’s captivating to say the least.

Stylistically, the Big East conference is one that allows a player like Elvis to thrive due its tempo and flow in transition. The leaders that sit atop of the conference typically have the best transition offense and defense. Hence, the fact that Villanova, Creighton, Xavier, Butler and others have all had relative success when they were at the top in those areas.

While DePaul was in the basement of the Big East this past season, a piece like Elvis can help jump start a trend in the right direction. At the end of the day, you need the horses to run a race.
