Preview: Undefeated Northern Kings look to Win CYBL Grade 7 Competitive Title
As the finals of the grade 7 competitive division looms among us, Northern Kings bring their undefeated record to the table against Ottawa Elite.
These two teams have met three times with Northern Kings taking each contest by an average of 7.3 PPG.
Although Ottawa Elite has kept Northern King to 56 PPG, 5 points lower then their 61 PPG average throughout the season, they haven’t been able to find the basket themselves.
Although throughout the season Ottawa Elite has averaged 55 PPG, against Northern Kings they have only been able to muster 49 PPG, including a season low 39 points.
For Northern Kings the plan looks simple enough – continue to do what they are doing.
They have been able to stifle Ottawa Elite and still score at a rate where they have been to win comfortably for the most part.
For Ottawa Elite, if they are able to keep Northern Kings around the 56 PPG mark, and then score at their rate of 55 PPG this will give them a chance.
With that being said, in theory that would be the perfect game – something that will have to happen to beat a perfect team.

All championship games from grade 4-8 will take place at John Paul II in Scarborough Ontario Saturday March 31st 2018 from 9 AM to 9:30 PM.
