Isiaha Mike Awarded 2nd A-10 Conference Rookie of the Week
Scarborough, Ontario’s, Isiaha Mike is becoming a familiar name in the A-10 Conference, which is home to nine Canadian players this season including last year’s Rookie of the Year for the conference, Joseph Chartouny of Fordham.
This season, so far, Isiaha Mike has earned Rookie of the Week in the conference for the second time while the Duquesne Dukes are on a three game win streak.
Mike has scored in double digits in all three of the wins and is climbing into the 20+ point mark as the season progresses.
He had a career high 19 points against Colgate and a career high in assists with 5 against Jackson State.
A personal victory for Mike and his teammate Mike Lewis II who also has a couple making it 5 out of 7 weeks where Duquesne players have been awarded, that’s good for school history.
Already a known name to the pro personnel since his performance at FIBA/NBA Basketball Without Borders, now his stock is improving. His incline is tremendous and still scratching the surface.
