16 Teams Announced for Pinky Lewis Invitational, November 18-20! Canadian Basketball Prospect Watch

The field is set.

Hamilton, Ontario will be treated to high level prep basketball, featuring Canada’s brightest young stars in the 2016 Pinky Lewis Invitational, hosted by McMaster University November 18-20!

“For over three decades the Pinky Lewis Tournament has been one of the premier basketball events in Ontario,” explained McMaster Head Coach Amos Connolly.

“With the game’s changing landscape, we needed to take the next step to stay at the top. Partnering with NPH has broadened our reach and visibility making The Pinky not just one of the best in the province — but now a leader nationwide.”

A combination of prep and talented HS programs have been invited to partake in this historical event.

The Pinky Lewis Invitational will feature programs from all over Ontario and talent from across Canada.

Canadian Prospects to keep an eye out for include a trio of size at TRC Academy in Cincinatti Commit 6’10 Eliel Nsoseme (2017), 6’9 Brandon John (2018) and Alberta’s 6’8 Adong Makuoi (2018)

National team member Stefan Smith (2018) of Bill Crothers will be looking to make his mark on the 2016-2017 season, in addition to stock risers AJ Lawson (2019 / GTA Prep) Cordell Veira (2018 / TBA) and high flyer Kajon Gordon-Stephens (Rise Prep / 2018).

Introducing 2020

6’6 guard Addison Patterson is one of the country’s brightest young stars out of Milton, Ontario–he will attempt to lead the Bishop Reding Royals among a stacked field at Pinky.

Like Patterson, Luka Sakota and Kobe Antwi are among the cream of the crop in 2020; this young duo will suit up for King’s Christian out of Burlington, ON.
