Miguel Tomley has next out of British Columbia.

The tenth grade guard made a statement at one of the biggest basketball tournaments in BC, the Legal Beagle Invitational.

Tomley scored 51 points, to go along with 10+ rebounds for Tamanawis in a victory over Walnut Grove (Top 10 BC Team) 101-94. He had 33 at halftime.

Some in BC basketball circles believe the 6’1 guard to be the best prospect in the province regardless of class.

Tomley eclipses Jadon Cohee, David Wagner and Jordy McTavish, according to the tournament selection committee, becoming the first player to reach the 50-point mark at the Legal Beagle.

Sagar Dulay, senior backcourt teammate also had a big night scoring 33 points for Tamanawis.

On the flipside, Walnut Grove was lead by Ty Rowell (32) and Jake Cowley (25).

In 2012, Tomley was also the youngest player to ever attend the British Columbia #NPHShowcase –a seventh grader at the time that insisted on playing older competition.

Four years later, nothing has changed.
