One door closes shut, Another opens

OSHAWA, ON– As the CCAA National championships have come to a close with the Vanier Cheetahs of Quebec crowned 2010-2011 champions, the question that remains is where some of the top CCAA seniors will transfer their skill set next season. For most players, their basketball careers are over, while others switch gears and switch leagues.

Highlighting this season’s cream of the crop include:

Bol Kong– Transferring from NAIT (CCAA, ACAC) to St Francis Xavier (CIS, AUS)

Dominyc Coward– Transferring from Lethbridge (CCAA, ACAC) to Lethbridge U (CIS, CANWEST)

Michael Acheampong– Transferring from Humber (CCAA, OCAA) to Victoria (CIS, CANWEST)

Other:

Durham’s Courtney Small will be heading to Europe in the off season to take part in an exposure camp in England. Wish him luck as he plans on making a splash and earning a spot on a semi-proor professional team roster!
