Justin Jackson Named BIG 10 Rookie of the Week

Canadian rising star Justin Jackson has been named BIG 10 rookie of the week, following a stat line of 12 points, nine rebounds, four assists, two blocks and six steals in a victory over Iowa.

Jackson’s six-steal performance was the most from a Maryland player since D.K Strawberry in 2006.

On the season, Jackson is averaging 10 points and six rebounds on 44% from the field for the #22-ranked Terrapins, who are now 17-2.

Jackson was NPH #2-ranked prospect out of high school in Canada, behind Thon Maker.
