Mfiondu Kabengele is a Top 10 prospect in the Canadian 2016 class that has committed to Florida State as he announced today to the Twitter world. He has climbed the ladder progressively and made it to #6.
Before leaving Corpus Christi in Burlington, Ontario he stood a 6’4 wiry small forward with not much of a skill set. The work that he has put in over the last year speaks volumes on his work ethic.
With a four inch growth spurt to 6’8, he has taken advantage of the experienced staff at Don Bosco Prep and extended his shooting range and ball handling abilities. Kabangele is a two way player with length that allows him to defend multiple positions in a very athletic ACC conference.
He joins fellow Canadian Xavier Rathan-Mayes as a Seminole.
