Top ranked Godwin Boehen has proven his effectiveness as a floor general and table setter. Today he has committed to the University of Illinois-Chicago and is one of the toughest minded kids to come out of Canada.
UIC, Niagara, St. Louis and others were in the mix and after the services of Boehen.
He has been dependable since his early high school days at St. Michael’s and continued to prove his worth in the move to St Louis Christian and then back at Hill Academy in the Canadian prep system.
He led the league in steals with almost 3 per contest and was arguably the best PG in the OSBA. Whether setting guys up off the dribble or knocking down a couple from deep, he’s always found a way to impact the game in bunches.
On the AAU Circuit with Canada Elite in a tough Under Armour summer circuit he helped carry his squad to the finals where they would eventually fall. Boehen has produced against top prospects from Canada and the U. S.
The Horizon league is a good level for this young prospect, a place where he can make direct impact on a team
